Bad weather policy

During Practices After School

If there is severe weather (i.e. thunder & lightening and/or heavy rain) anytime after 3:30, all afternoon practices will be cancelled.

If it is raining but not very hard, practice might still be run. 

Note: If one practice is cancelled after school, the remaining practices (that day) will be cancelled as well.


During Summer Practices

If there is severe weather (i.e. thunder & lightening and/or heavy rain) within 15 minutes, of your child’s practice start time, that practice will be cancelled

If it is raining but not very hard, practice might still be run

Note: It is possible that an early practice might be cancelled because of severe weather but a later practice might still be run if the weather clears.


Before or During a Meet

Meets are not cancelled before the start time; usually they are delayed until the weather clears off or cancelled when it is too late to start the meet. Therefore, swimmers need to report to all meets regardless of the weather.
